The Rochester Institute of Technology Women’s Soccer Team spent seven days touring Costa Rica, playing in friendly matches, and participating in breathtaking adventures around the stunning Costa Rica landscape.
After arriving, the team enjoyed the hot water springs to get comfortable after a long day of traveling. On their first full day, the team hiked through an exotic rainforest to the La Fortuna waterfall. It’s a natural wonder that very few people get to experience, and the ladies soaked in every minute of it. They knew they needed to relax as much as possible, since their friendly match was fast approaching!
On the field, RIT took on local soccer team Liberia, playing a competitive match featuring great organization and athleticism.
Between zip line tours of the jungle canopy, white water rafting trips, and a heartwarming community service activity, RIT returned home with plenty of memories that are sure to last them a lifetime.
