Food

Our teams enjoy a variety of great tasting & healthy food during the tour. Meals are generally served buffet style and the portions are generous.

  • Gallo pinto is a traditional breakfast food of rice and beans served with scrambled eggs.
  • One of our favorite desserts, tres leches (meaning three milks), is made from evaporated milk, condensed milk and whipped cream.
  • Costa Rican pineapples are delicious and about ¼ the cost of those in the U.S.
